The guide to a higher close rate on first visits.
At our own studio in Lima, eight of every ten first visits loved the class and walked out anyway. Six months after we rebuilt one conversation at the door, first-visit conversion had gone from 20 percent to 60 percent. This guide covers the five moves behind that number, in the order we installed them.

No email needed. It simply helps us understand which studios we are building these for.
Rebuild the first visit as a structured goal evaluation.
Instead of come try a class, the client tells you what they want to achieve, the first session adapts to that goal, and the visit ends with an honest conversation about fit. From the outside it looks identical. The whole change lives in the conversation.
Set the frame before they walk in.
The people walking in stay the same people. What moves the number is the frame they arrive with. When the message before the visit and the conversation after class point at the same goal, the client arrives starting a change they already named, and the only question left at the entry is whether they are ready to commit.
Hold the decision conversation the same day.
The decision happens while the experience is still in their body. Fifteen minutes, sitting down, the same person running it every time. The five questions that conversation covers, in order, are in the companion resource: the five questions for the 15 minutes after the first visit.
Present options anchored to THEIR goal.
Like a doctor reading results: based on what you told me, here is what makes sense. Clear options, same day, zero pressure. Let them choose. The clients who commit to a goal stay longer than the ones who bought a discount, and the same three-month plan that sold at S/500 sold at S/1,400 once the goal carried the price.
Track one number every week.
Of every ten first visits this week, how many became members that same week? Studios running a structured process convert 55%+ of first visits; a typical unstructured first visit closes less than half. Sitting below that range means the gap lives in one of the four moves above, and it is fixable.
Why this works: the room, the team and the schedule stay exactly as they are. Only the conversation around the first visit changes, and the client convinces themselves. That is the difference between filling a room and keeping it full.
