The five questions for the 15 minutes after the first visit.
Use these in a sit-down conversation the same day as the first visit. The conversation belongs to your front desk and runs the same way every time. Order matters: the client convinces themselves, and your only job is to listen and anchor.
Two quick answers and it opens
No email needed. It simply helps us understand which studios we are building these for.
"How did that feel, honestly?"
Open, zero sales energy. Let them talk first. You're debriefing.
"What made you book a first visit NOW?"
This surfaces the real trigger (the wedding, the back pain, the photo). The reason they came is the reason they'll stay. Write it down, in their words.
"If we fast-forward 6 months and this worked, what's different?"
The client defines the goal, in their own words. Never suggest the goal for them.
"What's gotten in the way before?"
Past gyms, lost motivation, plans that fizzled. They're telling you what your studio must avoid repeating, and hearing themselves explain why "just classes" fell short.
"Based on what you told me, here's what makes sense. Want me to walk you through it?"
Only NOW present options. Anchor every option to THEIR goal from question 3. Clear options, same day, zero pressure. Let them choose.
Why this works: the decision happens while the experience is still in their body. Studios running this convert 55%+ of first visits; a typical unstructured first visit closes less than half.
